This update is broken.

New update is broken. Everytime I open the app, I have to ‘Restore In-App Purchases’ to get the features I had purchased before. Also, the mic cannot be monitored when playing tracks in the ‘Song’ area.

in-app purchase warning

The app is prone to crash and have bugs but it functions in a useful way. I never had a problem until I purchased the recorder in-app purchase (as I didnt want the full app and only that one feature). The app loaded my purchase and it was fine, however, when I closed out of the app and opened it back up again, the recorder feature was gone and it was asking me to buy the feature again. Wow, thanks for that! All of the in-app purchases are starting to reek of scam. Be wary with this app.

Awesome app!

Awesome app but how do I get rid of the help bubbles?

Awesome APP but...

To get rid of help bubbles i pressed "?"-worked for me. I have problem with recording after update with standard mic. Lost volume when recording. Now I have to set input as 11 and record volume on track at 1. Results are not that great. I have been using this app for over 1 yr and payed for 8 track in app purchase. I am disappointed after sending 2 emails to IK I got NO reply. Please fix and update again! I truly love the app the way it was before.

No Way

This app was good until it stole my money. I did the in app purchase for $17.99 and had full access. Created a project and now its telling me to use the feature I have to purchase it as if I didnt purchase already. I want it fixed or my money back!!!

Kool Kidz Icon!!!

You get 5 stars when the icon changes. It looks like a bunch of 90s moms made this app icon to deter their children from smoking or something. Its a Chucky Cheese icon. It conjures imagery of Jazzy Jeff and denim vests. I hate this icon, it is a nightmare. Many celebrities have made mention that they think the app is good, but the icon is frightful. The president has signed a bill into law that you must make a better icon. The app is good, except the keyboard is super low-res. get it iOS8ier. I would like to see a more sophisticated noise filter. Otherwise, the app is a flash of human brilliance an amazing step forward in mobile musicianship. I love it. This icon is agony. Gigantic! Gigantic! Gigantic! A big, big love!

Got one star because I cant give less

This app is literally garbage. It doesnt do anything as its advertised for. It got me so mad that I actually wen out of my way to write a review. Spent my time trying to get it to work and it never did. Be wise and dont waste your or space downloading this crap.

Giving me a hard time since Update with mixer last year

Ever since the update with the new mixing system with this app, I have not been able to use vocalive free the way I use to.. Its been since the summer. This app would freeze and I would hear distortion while recording and playing back the track Ive recorded.. Evening upgrading to a new device, I was still having problems. This app was updated recently, so, I thought this app would work better knowing its now compatible with IOS 8. But, sadly, I still have the same problems.. Doing what Customer service told me as well didnt work either.. I am giving up on this app..

Its needs work

It needs a lot of work , theres many bugs. its also says register to use the fx & when I registered it did the same thing. I wouldnt want to buy this app if it doesnt work well on the free one . please fix I am upset

This stuff is awful.

For Christmas, my kids bought me this company’s iRig BlueBoard (foot pedal), iRig Midi Interface and iRig Microphone together with a suite of relevant software (AmpliTube, etc.) Nothing worked. And, perhaps I should explain that for 40 years I was a professor of mathematics and cognitive science at Northwestern, UMass, Purdue, and Indiana Universities - as well as being a software developer and experienced user of computer-based technologies. I’ve now retired and play a harmonica in several local bands (blues, country, rock, bluegrass). I mention this only to make it clear that I’m not an inexperienced user of these kinds of technologies. When I first experienced problems with IK Multimedia’s gadgets and software, I contacted their tech support people, and all they did was to tell me to read their manuals. I did this. And, to prove that I read the manuals thoroughly, I went though one of the manuals and make line-by-line editorial comments pointing out how nearly every sentence was either: (1) unhelpful, (2) completely unclear, (3) incomplete, or (4) completely wrong (in the sense that what was said simply wasn’t accurate). Then, I once again simplified my questions and contacted IK’s tech support people. This time, I did get a few suggestions about possible solutions to my problems. But, once again, virtually every sentence in this message was either: (1) completely unclear, (2) incomplete, or (3) completely wrong (in the sense that what was said simply wasn’t accurate). Also, the tech support person stated that some of the problems that I confronted could only be solved by purchasing more equipment that performed functions that IK Multimedia’s web site claims that their products are intended to do. Next, I tried going to IK Multimedia’s web site to see if there were other ways to get technical support. The contact numbers that were given reported that “the tech support lines were down.” And now, three days later, “the lines are still down." I’ve now seem to have no options except to ask for my money back on these purchases. … If you want to get a quick verification of what I’ve said, try downloading the things that are called “users manuals” for IK Multimedia’s products. The shortcomings will be obvious. These “users manuals” are not really users manuals at all. The simply describe what the products claim to do, but they give almost no information about how you (the user) could actually do any of these things. Also, these “users guides” contain a bunch of nearly identical photographs which contribute almost nothing to the meaningfulness of the text. … In more than 40 years of using a lot of computer-based tools, I’ve never encountered anything this bad in terms of overstated claims, completely useless “users guides”, and dismal tech support.

Horrible

Space of space and waste time dont even bother.

Confusing

This app is sooo confusing. its giving me a hard time and its a bad app in general. I hate it

Limited

The free version has such limited functionality that its not worth getting in less youre going to do a bunch of in app purchases. In the stuff there is just not user-friendly at all. Most of these, apps operate pretty intuitively. Not this one.

Disappointed

You need this app in order to make your microphones work BUT when you go to actually record, you get hit with in app purchase requirement. Why dont they either tell you that the app purchase is required UP FRONT or just add the additional cost to the microphone interface! Feel like I was deceived.

I love singing with the effects, wish it could record video

I actually love singing with the effects, it is the best real time effects that I have found. I just wish I could record video at the same time. I hope they make this a possibility in the future!

Couldnt figure out how to use it

I couldnt figure out how to use it and I just dont like this app

Not for live gigs?

Why doesnt irig have an xlr output for live gigs? I tried a headphone to xlr adaptor, which worked but the sound was either distorted, weak or muffled. Not enough high end, definitely not flat response. Unusable on stage with Irig mic interface.

Bad

This app has some work to be done
